Golf Saudi is seeking a Governance and Compliance Executive Director to join its team. This full-time role is critical for establishing and maintaining robust governance and compliance frameworks across Golf Saudi, its golf clubs, and subsidiaries.

Role Summary

The Executive Director will lead all governance and compliance functions by developing and overseeing comprehensive frameworks, compliance strategies, policies, regulatory obligations, and ethical standards. This role ensures strict alignment with legal and regulatory requirements, supports board and committee governance, and manages compliance risk assessments. The position is instrumental in overseeing Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Fraud, whistleblowing, investigations, and contractual compliance, thereby promoting transparency, accountability, and sound decision-making throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of governance and compliance strategies aligned with Golf Saudi’s objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain corporate governance frameworks, policies, procedures, delegation of authority, and decision-making protocols to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Establish and oversee the enterprise-wide compliance framework covering regulatory obligations, compliance risk assessments, AML, Fraud, contractual compliance, and internal control requirements.
• Manage board and committee governance, including agenda setting, documentation, resolutions, governance records, and required regulatory filings.
• Ensure effective corporate secretarial support for board meetings, committee meetings, shareholder communications, and governance-related approvals.
• Monitor and enforce conflict of interest policies, ethical standards, whistleblowing programs, confidentiality protocols, and escalation procedures across the organization.
• Supervise governance and compliance assessments, maturity evaluations, audits, and investigations by setting standards, reviewing outputs, and ensuring accountability.
• Coordinate with Legal, Risk, and Executive Leadership to mitigate governance, contractual, regulatory, and operational compliance risks.
• Set the annual governance and compliance roadmap, budgets, resources, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and monitoring plans across Golf Saudi, Golf Clubs, and subsidiaries.
• Lead stakeholder engagement with regulatory authorities, management committees, external auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure governance and compliance alignment.
• Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements and corporate governance trends, advising senior leadership on required enhancements and best practices.
• Lead awareness, training, and communication initiatives to embed governance, compliance, and ethical standards across the organization.
• Lead and mentor the governance and compliance team, ensuring capability development, performance accountability, and continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in governance and compliance leadership. This role requires a professional with a proven track record in developing and implementing robust frameworks within complex organizational structures, demonstrating strong leadership and strategic oversight capabilities.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in governance and compliance roles.
