The Role of Graphic Designer

Extreme Delight Chocolate is seeking a Graphic Designer to manage the visual execution of its multi-brand chocolate portfolio. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, involves designing packaging, brand collateral, and digital assets while maintaining distinct and consistent brand identities in both Arabic and English. All designs require final management approval.

Key Responsibilities

• Design product packaging and labeling, including boxes and kilo packaging, across all brand lines.
• Prepare print-ready artwork for premium finishes such as hot foil, embossing, and die-cuts.
• Produce design intent for vacuum trays and molds.
• Ensure labels comply with SFDA requirements, including Arabic-first text, ingredients, allergens, nutrition facts, and production/expiry dates.
• Manage print vendors to ensure color accuracy, material quality, and cost-effectiveness, including reviewing proofs.
• Protect each brand's identity, ensuring existing logos are never modified.
• Design catalogs, Point-of-Sale (POS) displays, and seasonal gifting collections for occasions like Ramadan, Eid, National Day, and Founding Day.
• Create bilingual assets for social media, e-commerce, and delivery applications, and support photo/video shoots.
• Design custom and private-label packaging for B2B and corporate-gift clients.
• Confirm production feasibility with the Operations department before finalizing any packaging designs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in FMCG, food, or packaging design.
• Bilingual design skills in Arabic/English layouts, including RTL composition and strong Arabic typography, demonstrated through a portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); After Effects is a plus.
• A portfolio showcasing packaging and multi-brand work, with solid knowledge of print production (dielines, hot foil, color separation).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in food or confectionery packaging with knowledge of SFDA labeling requirements.
• Proficiency in 3D mockups/renders and experience with AI image-generation tools for concept development.
