Role Overview

People Group Arabia, a well-established private real estate developer in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Head of Development. This full-time leadership position is based in Riyadh and involves leading the delivery of a growing portfolio of premium developments across the Kingdom. The role requires over 10 years of experience in real estate development.

About the Position

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing projects from initial feasibility and business case development through planning, design, procurement, delivery, and handover. The portfolio includes luxury residential communities, hospitality developments, and destinations across multiple regions of Saudi Arabia. The Head of Development will play a key role in shaping the company's future development pipeline and contributing to significant projects within Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of multiple high-value real estate projects.
• Manage internal development teams and external consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee feasibility studies, financial viability, master planning, and development strategy.
• Drive design quality, programme adherence, commercial performance, and stakeholder management.
• Work closely with executive leadership to shape the company's future development pipeline.
• Build strong relationships with consultants, operators, contractors, and government stakeholders.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate development.
• Proven track record in leading and delivering complex real estate projects.
• Experience managing projects from initial concept through to handover.
• Strong understanding of project finance, planning, design, and procurement processes.
