Riyad Bank is seeking a Head of Retail Program and Strategic Initiatives to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to the Consumer Banking division, focusing on the strategic execution of key priorities.

Role Overview

The Head of Retail Program and Strategic Initiatives will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of strategic retail banking programs and cross-divisional initiatives. This position acts as the strategic execution engine for Consumer Banking, ensuring that key priorities are translated into structured programs with clear accountability, milestones, and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage the Consumer Banking strategic initiatives portfolio, aligning with the bank's retail strategy and Vision 2030 priorities.
• Develop program charters, roadmaps, and delivery frameworks for major cross-functional initiatives.
• Track and report on initiative progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
• Establish and maintain a robust PMO function for retail banking programs.
• Ensure all initiatives adhere to governance standards, with clear ownership, KPIs, and escalation paths.
• Identify inter-dependencies between programs and manage conflicts or priorities.
• Coordinate with all Consumer Banking units, IT, Finance, HR, and Risk to ensure aligned and integrated delivery.
• Prepare and present strategic initiative updates to Consumer Banking leadership and Board committees.
• Lead and develop the strategic initiatives team, building strong program management capability.
• Foster a culture of execution discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Prepare departmental reports for Riyad Bank in a timely and accurate manner, meeting company and department requirements, policies, and standards.
• Represent the function and actively contribute to various internal and external committees/meetings as applicable and per authority levels to ensure relevant matters are addressed efficiently.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
