The Host Role in Riyadh

Le Meridien is seeking a Host to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 year of experience who are passionate about creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The Host serves as the initial point of contact for diners, ensuring a smooth and pleasant start to their experience by managing seating arrangements and maintaining dining area standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and accurately determine the size of their party.
• Seat guests efficiently at clean, available tables, ensuring chairs are pulled out and current menus are presented.
• Guide guests through dining areas and provide any necessary assistance.
• Manage and arrange tables, chairs, and settings to optimize dining space and accommodate groups, including those with special needs.
• Verify that all place settings are appropriate, including napkins, clean silverware, and other standard items.
• Inspect menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and free of wrinkles.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service flow, safety, and guest well-being.

Operational Duties and Professional Standards

• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to management promptly.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to established company standards.
• Communicate with colleagues and guests using clear and professional language.
• Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Foster and maintain positive working relationships with team members.
• Support the team in achieving common goals and respond appropriately to concerns of other employees.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and service standards.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Execute other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience
