About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a dedicated Housing Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring the effective operation, cleanliness, and maintenance of our housing facilities. The specialist will manage soft services, monitor utilities, coordinate maintenance activities, and supervise service providers to maintain safe, functional, and well-maintained living environments for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and control the distribution, utilization, and performance of building attendants and cleaning teams.
• Distribute cleaning materials, tools, and supplies to ensure uninterrupted services.
• Perform and report periodic evaluations of facility cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Oversee functions related to water supply and sewage, pest control, fire safety devices, kitchen amenities, swimming pools, landscaping, and elevator maintenance.
• Supervise contractors performing work within housing facilities and manage asset relocation activities.
• Perform clerical work with public-sector entities (*, Municipality, National Water Company) when required.
• Provide administrative support to Housing team members, including documentation and process assistance.

Utilities, Coordination, and Process Improvement

• Monitor and report on utility consumption, sufficiency, requirements, and associated financial costs.
• Review and follow up on utility invoices, payments, and analysis to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Coordinate with property owners and building management to ensure proper facility functioning.
• Receive Facilities Management (FM) tickets, evaluate resource needs, communicate with tenants, and approve maintenance work, including cost confirmations.
• Propose new ideas, best practices, and improvement opportunities for facilities operations.

• Execute planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules, utilizing resources effectively within cost and time efficiencies.
• Provide periodic reports detailing the execution and any deviations from planned tasks.
• Proactively solve operational problems and escalate complex issues as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to quality requirements, contributing to effective quality control and process development.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities where possible.
• Comply with all relevant company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management procedures within the defined work area.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in housing operations, facilities management, or a similar field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage soft services, coordinate maintenance, and supervise service providers.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring on-site presence to manage housing facilities effectively.
