The Role: HR Generalist Senior Specialist

Roland Berger is seeking an experienced HR Generalist Senior Specialist to manage and support HR operations throughout the employee lifecycle in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on employee administration, compliance with Saudi government platforms, onboarding and offboarding processes, HR systems and reporting, and general employee support. The position also includes responsibilities for recruitment coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including records, contracts, employment letters, probation, leave, transfers, promotions, and exits.
  • Maintain accurate employee data, personnel files, HR systems, and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies, Saudi Labor Law, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage employee and company information on Saudi government platforms such as Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI, Mudad/WPS, HRSD, Absher Business, and Ajeer.
  • Administer expatriate employee requirements, including Iqama, work permits, visas, exit/re-entry, renewals, transfers, and coordination with PRO/immigration teams.
  • Support GOSI, Mudad/WPS, Saudization/Nitaqat, and other statutory HR requirements, ensuring alignment across HR, payroll, and government records.
  • Monitor changes to Saudi Labor Law, HRSD regulations, and localization rules to maintain HR process compliance.
  • Serve as a primary contact for employees on HR matters, including policies, benefits, leave, contracts, documentation, and payroll-related queries.
  • Coordinate with Finance/Payroll, IT, Staffing, and Talent Management to ensure effective delivery of employee lifecycle activities.
  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, HR system updates, government requirements, access coordination, and final settlements.
  • Support recruitment for consulting and internal support roles, including candidate coordination, interview scheduling, offer preparation, and recruitment tracking.
  • Maintain HR trackers and reports covering headcount, recruitment, onboarding, employee movements, turnover, and compliance.
  • Support HR audits, compliance reviews, policy initiatives, and continuous improvement of HR operations.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and data integrity for all employee information and sensitive HR matters.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, recruitment, and HR operations.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Saudi government platforms such as Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI, Mudad/WPS, HRSD, Absher Business, and Ajeer.
  • Strong understanding of Saudi Labor Law and Saudization/Nitaqat requirements.
  • Experience in a consulting, professional services, or fast-paced corporate environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP or other HR information systems is an advantage.
  • Professional HR qualification, such as CIPD, is preferred.

Required Skills

  • Good understanding of recruitment processes, onboarding, employee documentation, and HR operations.
  • Strong coordination and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential employee information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using HR systems, applicant tracking systems, or employee management platforms is preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a Saudi National.
