About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking an HS&E Specialist, a Saudi National, to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves supporting the implementation and maintenance of Safety, Health, and Environmental (SH&E) programs across project sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project or Program Managers in implementing and maintaining SH&E programs.
  • Support the administration and execution of site-specific SH&E plans to ensure compliance with project, client, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct audits of projects and worksites to verify compliance with corporate standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and recommend risk control measures.
  • Prepare and submit inspection reports, audit reports, and corrective action recommendations.
  • Monitor project planning and work execution to ensure compliance with Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP).
  • Support occupational injury, incident reporting, and incident management processes.
  • Analyze inspection findings, audit results, and incident trends to support continuous improvement.
  • Assist with new employee safety orientations and onboarding.
  • Deliver SH&E training programs and promote industry best practices.
  • Maintain accurate training records and safety documentation.
  • Participate in safety briefings, toolbox talks, and workforce awareness programs.
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, clients, and stakeholders to foster a strong safety culture.
  • Support emergency preparedness activities and contribute to safety performance improvement.
  • Perform other associated responsibilities as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE/SH&E) roles.
  • Working knowledge of applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with recognized safety standards and industry best practices, including ANSI and NFPA.
  • Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Experience delivering safety training and awareness programs.

  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify hazards and recommend practical corrective and preventive actions.

Additional Desired Skills

  • Professional safety certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience on major infrastructure, transportation, rail, or construction projects.
  • Knowledge of risk management methodologies and occupational safety management systems.
  • Experience working in multicultural and fast-paced project environments.
