Role Summary: HSE Engineer (Saudi National)

Egis is seeking a detail-oriented and professional HSE Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is exclusively open to Saudi nationals. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health, safety, and environmental programs that comply with Saudi Arabian regulatory requirements and international standards. This position requires 5-10 years of proven experience in an HSE or similar occupational health and safety management role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in compliance with Saudi Arabia's labor regulations and international HSE standards (ISO 45001, OSHA guidelines).
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential workplace dangers and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, document findings, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Perform regular safety audits and inspections to ensure organizational compliance with applicable regulations and internal standards.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed HSE documentation, records, and reports for regulatory submissions and internal review.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees at all organizational levels to promote a strong safety culture.
  • Collaborate with department managers and operational teams to integrate HSE best practices into daily work activities.
  • Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics and key performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate emergency response procedures and conduct drills to ensure organizational preparedness.
  • Stay current with changes in Saudi Arabia's HSE regulations and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience as an HSE Engineer or in a similar occupational health and safety management role, with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred experience in industrial, manufacturing, oil and gas, or construction sectors.
