Role Overview: HSE Manager

The HSE Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities across various infrastructure construction projects. The primary objective is to ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, project requirements, and approved HSE standards. The project scope encompasses earthworks, potable water, wastewater, stormwater drainage, irrigation, and firefighting networks, as well as civil works associated with electrical, street lighting, ICT, and chilled water networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE plans for infrastructure projects.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
• Supervise safety teams, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor site compliance with all relevant safety regulations and project-specific HSE standards.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Coordinate effectively with project management and external consultants on all HSE matters.
• Ensure the effective implementation of preventive and corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental management, preferably within infrastructure construction projects.
• Demonstrated knowledge of applicable safety regulations and HSE standards.
• Proven ability to develop and implement HSE plans and conduct risk assessments.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active presence and management of HSE activities directly at project sites within the region.
