HSE Officer

About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking an experienced HSE Officer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is critical for ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance across construction work areas, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily HSE inspections across assigned construction work areas.
• Monitor compliance with PPE, access, housekeeping, scaffolding, lifting, excavation, and work-at-height requirements.
• Verify permits, risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), toolbox talks, and safety-control measures.
• Identify unsafe acts or conditions and require immediate corrective action.
• Support safety inductions, emergency drills, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Maintain observation registers, inspection reports, incident records, and safety statistics.
• Coordinate daily with contractor supervisors and the HSE Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant HSE role.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and monitor HSE protocols in construction environments.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, requiring active engagement on construction sites and close collaboration with project teams and management to uphold safety standards.
