Role Overview

The HSE Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe working environment by identifying risks, enforcing safety policies, and conducting necessary training and inspections. This full-time position, located in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is crucial for promoting a strong safety culture on site and ensuring adherence to occupational health and safety regulations. The role involves leading the maintenance and continuous improvement of the HSE Management System.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively support the Construction & Commissioning team on site to promote safe and efficient operations.
• Lead and coordinate contractors’ safety officers/HSE supervisors to ensure full alignment and compliance with HSE rules and best practices.
• Deliver HSE site inductions and toolbox talks to all workers and visitors.
• Conduct frequent HSE audits and inspections, and lead weekly safety stand-downs and hazard hunts.
• Lead the Permit to Work process and monitor high-risk activities such as scaffolding, excavation, lifting operations, confined space entry, and hot work.
• Actively lead incident investigations.
• Provide HSE training to crews.
• Track and analyze observation cards weekly.
• Review vendor documentation, including Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), procedures, lifting plans, checklists, and method statements.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in HSE management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate safety efforts on complex projects.
• Strong understanding of occupational health and safety regulations.

Work Environment

This role is based at the headquarters office in Riyadh, with frequent site visits required to support Construction, Commissioning, and Operations teams. The HSE Manager will work in a collaborative environment focused on accountability and sustainable practices.
