About the HVAC Supervisor Role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, *** is seeking an experienced HVAC Supervisor to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for maintaining the exceptional operational standards of our luxury properties, ensuring the comfort and safety of our guests. The successful candidate will uphold The Ritz-Carlton's renowned "Gold Standards" through diligent maintenance and service delivery.

Key Maintenance and Operational Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on all tools, appliances, and equipment.
• Recommend the replacement of tools, appliances, and equipment as necessary.
• Calibrate all controls, gauges, and meters to ensure accuracy.
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves efficiently.
• Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies, maintaining accurate inventory and purchase order logs.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machines regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Utilize computer systems for accessing work-related information and documentation.
• Operate power lift equipment safely and effectively.
• Respond promptly to guest repair requests, ensuring minimal disruption to their experience.

Safety, Compliance, and Team Leadership

• Complete life safety checklists, including conducting fire-pump and generator run tests.
• Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems to ensure compliance and functionality.
• Assist in the development of disaster response protocols.
• Support management in various human resources functions, including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Ensure strict adherence to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly, and complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new methods to enhance organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the HVAC Supervisor position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in HVAC systems maintenance and supervision, preferably within a luxury hospitality environment. A strong technical background and proven ability to manage complex systems are essential for this role.

Physical Demands of the Role

The role requires the ability to perform various physical tasks, including:

• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects or operational issues.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods as required by operational needs.
• Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
