IBM DATAPOWER INTEGRATION DESIGNER (OPENSHIFT)

About the Role

Duncan & Ross is seeking an IBM DataPower Integration Designer (OpenShift) for a full-time position with a major client in Riyadh. This role is design-led, focusing on transforming business requirements into secure and scalable integration solutions. The designer will guide development teams from the initial design phase through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in business and technical meetings to gather and analyze requirements.
• Evaluate technical feasibility and propose optimal integration approaches in collaboration with the core team.
• Develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents that adhere to client standards.
• Design secure and high-performing integration solutions utilizing IBM DataPower.
• Provide guidance to development teams throughout the implementation process.
• Collaborate with business, architecture, development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A strong understanding of SOA, enterprise integration, and middleware concepts.
• Demonstrated experience in designing IBM DataPower solutions, including ownership of HLD/LLD documents.
• Practical design experience with DataPower services, such as Multi-Protocol Gateway, Web Service Proxy, and XML Firewall.
• Proficient knowledge of XML, XSD, WSDL, SOAP, REST APIs, and XSLT.
• A solid grasp of security principles, including authentication, AAA policies, SSL/TLS, and certificate management.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
