ICT Applications Developer

About the Role

stc is seeking an ICT Applications Developer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on the design and development of various ICT applications and infrastructure components. The role involves supporting design decisions through data compilation and reporting.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to assist in the design and development of circuits, systems, servers, database systems, and automated infrastructure services. This is achieved by following established standard procedures and guidelines. The ICT Applications Developer will also be responsible for compiling and reporting relevant statistics to support design decisions within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform defined tests on simple circuits, systems, and equipment accurately, adhering to standard guidelines and specifications.
• Conduct maintenance and repair of existing systems and equipment under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Compile and analyze statistics on the performance of current and new stc design systems to support higher-level decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to established guidelines in all deployment and implementation operations of IT infrastructure.
• Deploy requisite infrastructure and applications necessary for smooth day-to-day operations.
• Collate infrastructure and application requirements from various sectors to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Ensure all technical specifications for implementation and deployment align with enterprise architecture design.
• Assist in tracking license utilization across all applications.
• Support in governing software and related assets.
• Handle the tuning and optimization of database systems in coordination with application owners.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date computer records and reports as directed.
• Prepare and update necessary databases, including RFPs and vendor management databases.
• Perform pre-defined inspections and audits to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Execute assigned responsibilities consistently, ensuring compliance with established standards, policies, processes, and operating procedures.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. A strong understanding of standard procedures and guidelines for circuit, system, server, database, and automated infrastructure service design and development is essential.
