Business Technology Developer

About the Role

Riyad Bank is seeking a Business Technology Developer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves developing, modifying, and configuring applications and systems to meet business requirements, while ensuring their ongoing functionality and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure consistent work execution.
• Manage day-to-day operations related to the role to maintain work continuity.
• Review identified business needs for assigned areas to understand requirements and goals.
• Develop, modify, and configure banking and business technology applications according to instructions to satisfy business needs.
• Adhere to application design principles and propose improvements to enhance accuracy.
• Participate in application testing to confirm efficiency and accuracy before production release.

Application Development and Delivery

• Monitor the efficiency of applications in assigned business areas and perform maintenance to support effective business objective execution.
• Address system and application malfunctions reported by the Services Center department, resolving them according to guidance to assist business operational ability.
• Document all interventions and developments to systems and applications to support effective knowledge management.
• Follow up with assigned business areas regarding the efficiency of developed applications to ensure customer satisfaction and support business operations.

Continuous Improvement and Reporting

• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices, considering international best practices, business process enhancement, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
• Assist in preparing timely and accurate reports for Riyad Bank to meet company and department requirements, policies, and standards.

Compliance and General Duties

• Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
• Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
