About the Role

DSS Sustainable Solutions Switzerland SA is seeking a Freelance Industrial Psychologist - Psychological Safety Expert to support organizational transformation programs. This role is based in Riyadh and focuses on high-hazard industries such as Mining & Metals, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, and Chemicals. The position requires 2-5 years of experience and combines industry knowledge with expertise in human behavior and psychological safety.

Role Context and Objectives

The successful candidate will apply a strong background in Human Factors, Psychology, or Behavioral Science to understand the people impacts of change. This involves working with operational leaders and frontline teams to design and implement sustainable initiatives. The primary objective is to improve business performance, strengthen safety culture, and enhance workforce engagement within industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support organizational transformation programs in high-hazard industries.
• Design and implement sustainable change initiatives to improve business performance and safety culture.
• Assess and influence behavioral change within organizations.
• Measure the effectiveness of transformation programs.
• Embed practices that promote psychological safety, resilience, and high-performing teams.
• Translate psychological and human factors principles into practical, measurable workplace outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Psychology, Human Factors, Organizational Psychology, Behavioral Science, or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of proven experience delivering behavioral safety change management and transformation initiatives.
• Field-based operational experience in sectors such as Mining & Metals, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Manufacturing, or Energy.
• Expertise in psychological safety, behavioral change, culture transformation, and workforce engagement.
• Ability to measure, assess, and influence behavioral outcomes associated with organizational change.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Experience working with teams from frontline to senior leadership.
