About the Role

TawanTech is seeking an Infrastructure Administrator to join our team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role focuses on supporting the installation, configuration, and maintenance of infrastructure agents across diverse Linux and Windows environments. The administrator will perform essential system administration tasks, deploy enterprise tools, and ensure strict compliance with cybersecurity and data protection requirements, all while aligning infrastructure operations with established ITIL processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of infrastructure agents across Linux and Windows environments, ensuring standardization and security compliance.
• Perform system administration tasks, including OS-level configuration, patching, hardening, and agent lifecycle management.
• Deploy and manage enterprise tools such as monitoring agents, endpoint management solutions, backup agents, and security tools (*, SIEM, EDR).
• Ensure compliance with SAMA, NCA, PDPL, and NDMO cybersecurity and data protection requirements during installation and configuration activities.
• Execute Infrastructure operations aligned with ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability through enterprise monitoring tools and proactively remediate infrastructure issues.
• Assist in Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities, including testing, failover validation, and recovery execution.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for troubleshooting, upgrades, and deployment of infrastructure components.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation, including configuration baselines, deployment procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for infrastructure incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Support automation initiatives using scripting (*, PowerShell, Bash) to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Ensure secure configurations and adherence to baseline standards, including patching, vulnerability remediation, and access controls.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in infrastructure administration or system administration within enterprise environments, preferably in banking.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows OS, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in deploying and managing infrastructure agents such as monitoring, backup, patching, and endpoint security tools.

Technical Expertise

• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, including SAMA Cybersecurity Framework, NCA ECC, PDPL, and NDMO standards.
• Exposure to the ITIL framework and operational processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Experience in supporting Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity operations.
• Basic experience working with vendors and managing support cases.

Work Environment and Preferred Skills

This role operates within a production support environment with defined SLAs and KPIs, requiring a proactive approach to infrastructure management. Knowledge of virtualization platforms, cloud environments, or enterprise infrastructure tools is preferred for this position.
