Role Overview

AECOM is seeking an Inspector - Electrical to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment at various client sites. The Inspector will ensure systems operate efficiently and safely, maintain technical documentation, and adhere to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components at project sites.
  • Conduct site inspections and technical assessments to identify system performance issues.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults using diagnostic tools and analytical problem-solving techniques.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and power distribution systems.
  • Test and verify equipment functionality using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized diagnostic software.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, electrical codes, and industry standards during all field operations.
  • Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications in technical reports.
  • Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and other engineering teams to optimize system performance.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and provide technical support as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in electrical systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting electrical faults.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized software.
  • Thorough understanding of safety protocols, electrical codes, and industry standards.
  • Experience in documenting maintenance activities and preparing technical reports.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working at various client sites and requires adherence to strict safety and industry standards.
