The Role of Interior Design Intern

Sanabil Studio is seeking a recent graduate to join Revie as an Interior Design Intern. This full-time position, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is offered through either the Tamheer program or a co-op arrangement. The role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, providing hands-on involvement in real client projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, mood boards, and material palettes for residential and commercial fit-out projects.
• Produce 2D drawings and 3D visualizations using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software.
• Prepare FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) selections and specification documents.
• Support design development from initial concept through to execution drawings.
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure design intent is maintained during project execution.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Hold a degree in interior design or architecture.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and comfortable with at least one 3D visualization tool such as SketchUp or 3ds Max.
• Demonstrate a strong aesthetic sense and meticulous attention to detail.

Work Environment and Development

Interns will engage directly with client projects, contributing to mood boards, drawings, and specifications for finished spaces. The role includes structured mentorship, working closely with design and operations teams to learn the full project process, from concept and material sourcing to site coordination, with senior designers reviewing work at every stage. The environment is characterized by a fast-paced workflow and high standards, moving quickly from concept to delivery while maintaining quality in all aspects of design and execution. This internship provides exposure to the entire project lifecycle, from initial sketches to final furnishing, and strong performance may lead to a full-time offer.
