About the Role

Gheras Alkhairat is seeking an Internal Audit professional to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is open to candidates with 0-1 years of experience. The role involves evaluating internal controls, financial records, and operational processes to ensure risk mitigation, policy compliance, and alignment with organizational governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audit field tests in accordance with the approved audit plan.
• Audit journal entries, procurement records, payroll cycles, and inventory management for accuracy and internal control adherence.
• Identify potential operational risks, process bottlenecks, and policy violations across key departments.
• Test key internal controls to evaluate their design, implementation, and operational effectiveness.
• Verify compliance with Saudi laws, local tax/ZATCA guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal policies.
• Assist in identifying fraud risks and assessing measures designed to prevent and detect improper activities.
• Draft clear, objective audit findings and actionable recommendations for management review.
• Maintain complete and well-organized audit working papers and documentation for future reference.
• Track and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and management action plans.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in internal audit or a related field.
