Role Overview: Investment Banking Associate M&A Global Advisory

Rothschild & Co is seeking an Investment Banking Associate for M&A Global Advisory in Riyadh. This full-time role involves providing impartial, expert advice to a diverse client base, including large and mid-sized corporations, private equity firms, families, entrepreneurs, governments, and sovereign wealth funds. The Associate will contribute to the design and execution of strategic M&A and financing solutions, acting as a trusted partner to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on multiple transactions and project teams simultaneously, covering all critical aspects from client development and initial opportunity evaluation to transaction strategy and execution.
• Develop and maintain standard or bespoke financial models.
• Utilize various valuation techniques, including discounted cash flows, trading comparables analysis, transaction comparables analysis, and LBO-based valuations, to support client advice.
• Coordinate and support teams in preparing marketing and transaction documentation, such as client presentations, information memoranda, and offering documents.
• Work on Equity Capital Markets transactions, including IPOs.
• Identify new business opportunities for Rothschild & Co and develop new ideas for clients to advance their strategic objectives.
• Coordinate and support the project team in managing all aspects of transactions, both internally and in collaboration with other advisers.
• Research relevant industries to support the team’s transaction initiatives, optimizing various information sources.
• Supervise junior team members.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment and Location

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a market experiencing significant growth. Rothschild & Co established its Riyadh office over two years ago and plans for continued expansion. While based in Riyadh, the business operates as a single Middle Eastern platform, requiring collaboration on mandates with both the Riyadh and Dubai offices.
