Jefferies is offering a 6-month Investment Banking Off-Cycle Program within the MENA team, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This internship, scheduled to start in January 2027, provides an opportunity to gain insight into a global, client-focused investment bank and experience an entrepreneurial environment. Interns will work closely with senior bankers on pitches and live deals, contributing to the firm's offerings across investment banking products and industry expertise. The program is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience.

MENA Team Overview

The Jefferies MENA Investment Banking Group, established in late 2023, offers a range of investment banking services to companies across various sectors, including M&A, ECM, and DCM. The team, comprising approximately 10–15 bankers, provides opportunities for significant responsibility and active involvement in building the franchise as the business expands.

Responsibilities

Interns will be involved in various tasks, including:

• Performing financial valuation, discounted cash flow, and multiples-based analysis.
• Building and operating financial models.
• Preparing pitchbooks and live deal materials, such as management presentations, offering memorandums, and prospectuses.
• Conducting industry and product research.
• Analyzing detailed corporate and financial information.
• Participating in the execution of M&A, equity, and debt transactions.
• Interacting with clients and potential buyers.

Program Experience

Interns will gain hands-on experience through a lean deal team structure, fostering personal and professional relationships with peers and senior bankers. Beyond fundamental analysis and research, interns are expected to contribute creatively and add value to the team. All interns are expected to pursue projects with excellence, a collaborative spirit, and the highest levels of integrity.

Work Environment and Recruitment

The internship is based in the Riyadh office, with potential travel to other offices in the region. Recruitment for the program is conducted on a rolling basis, starting from October.
