IT Co op Trainee

About the Role

Richemont is seeking an IT Co-op Trainee to join the IT Operations team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, offering practical exposure to a corporate IT environment. The trainee will serve as the initial point of contact for employee technical support, focusing on resolving issues, preparing hardware, and maintaining office technology.

Role Purpose

This position aims to develop foundational IT troubleshooting skills and provide exposure to industry-standard tools and platforms. The trainee will contribute to the IT Operations team by supporting local users and ensuring the smooth functioning of IT infrastructure within the office and retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support network infrastructure, including learning the organization’s local network topology, setup, and infrastructure. Perform routine network monitoring tasks to ensure high uptime and early issue detection.
• Learn and adhere to the organization’s cybersecurity standards. Develop simplified, engaging guides on cybersecurity best practices for users in the KSA market.
• Provide first-line support for diagnosing and resolving basic hardware, software, network, and operating system issues for local users.
• Configure, image, and set up laptops and workstations for new hires and hardware refreshes in accordance with company standards.
• Manage service desk operations by monitoring, logging, and updating IT support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
• Maintain and troubleshoot video conferencing (VC) setups in collaborative spaces, ensuring meeting room technology is fully functional.
• Assist in enrolling, configuring, and managing corporate mobile phones.
• Contribute to updating internal IT knowledge base articles and user guides.

Tools and Technologies

The trainee will gain hands-on experience with modern enterprise IT tools, including:

• Cybersecurity best practices aligned with organizational standards.
• ServiceNow for IT service management and ticketing.
• Microsoft Office 365 (O365) for managing user accounts, email, and productivity suites.
• Zscaler VPN for supporting secure remote connectivity.
• Workspace ONE (WSP1) for managing and securing corporate mobile devices.
• Apple/Android Device Enrollment Programs (DEP) for automated device deployment.
• Click Share & Poly X50 for setting up and troubleshooting smart meeting room videoconferencing systems.
