Key Account Manager

About the Role

Philips is seeking a Key Account Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves developing and maintaining long-term relationships with key customers by understanding their business needs and providing tailored value propositions. The Key Account Manager will act as the primary orchestrator of relationships with assigned key accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and drive credible, productive, long-term customer relationships to maximize short and long-term business value for Philips. This is based on a deep understanding of customer strategies, priorities, external trends, market insights, competitive landscape, and legislation.
• Coordinate a unified Philips approach to the customer by collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Service, and Supply Chain teams.
• Develop an Account Strategy aligned with customer priorities and drive key account sales plans to achieve growth targets, leveraging the BMC operating model to support product, solutions, and services towards full portfolio standardization.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean methodologies.
• Maintain and grow comparable sales and market share through funnel management, strategic account management, and order intake.
• Demonstrate Philips Leadership competencies consistently.
• Develop, maintain, and improve relationships with key accounts to establish Philips as a preferred supplier.
• Develop, maintain, and improve relationships with important end-users and their advisors.
• Initiate and coordinate all Philips efforts towards accounts to maximize sales group output.
• Translate sales group business plans into a strategic 2-3 year plan with defined targets, strategy, and actions to meet short and long-term goals.
• Create and implement action programs with key accounts to enhance Philips' performance.
• Drive the performance of functions within the account team.
• Lead account or project teams to ensure alignment in product packages, market approach, and company profile.
• Systematically analyze and report sales results, expectations, market conditions, competition, and trends for optimal operational planning and product portfolio decisions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. For office-based teams, Philips operates with an in-person work model for at least three days per week. Field roles, such as this one, are primarily conducted outside of company facilities, typically at customer or supplier locations.
