The Role of Laundry Supervisor

The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for managing all laundry operations within The Red Palace. This full-time position in Riyadh ensures the efficient processing of hotel linens and guest laundry, upholding the hotel's high standards of cleanliness, quality, and guest satisfaction through meticulous attention to detail and service excellence.

Core Laundry Operations and Efficiency

  • Oversee daily laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering all linens and guest garments.
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional laundry services by maintaining high cleanliness standards and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth communication and coordination regarding laundry needs and schedules.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with the laundry team to discuss challenges, share feedback, and improve service delivery processes.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Supervise the laundry team, assisting in recruitment, training, and providing ongoing guidance and support.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on laundry techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
  • Monitor the performance of laundry staff, providing constructive feedback and identifying development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the laundry team, encouraging initiative and confidence.

Quality Assurance and Innovation

  • Conduct regular inspections of laundered items to ensure compliance with established cleanliness and quality standards.
  • Identify and promptly address any deficiencies, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain service quality.
  • Innovate and implement new laundry techniques and service initiatives to continually enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Anticipate future trends in hospitality and adapt laundry strategies accordingly to maintain service excellence.

Compliance and Brand Representation

  • Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and security regulations relevant to laundry operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and implement necessary corrective actions.
