The Role of Learning Program Manager — Sciences

Noon Academy is seeking a full-time Learning Program Manager — Sciences to join its team in Riyadh. This role is central to the company's approach to learning in Saudi Arabia, which combines remote star teachers, physical classrooms, in-room facilitators, and a robust content engine. The Learning Team manages this content engine, which includes term plans, session design, question banks, and assessments across various curricula such as Qudrat, Tahsili, Nafes, the National Curriculum, and the International track. This position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

The Learning Program Manager will specifically oversee the Sciences (Biology / Chemistry) content operation. This is a management and delivery role, not an academic position focused on curriculum writing. The primary responsibility is to ensure that content is developed to the required standards, delivered on schedule each term, and produced by a team that consistently improves. This role is suited for individuals skilled at leading a team of specialists to deliver reliably under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of four Design Leads covering Biology (Tahsili), Chemistry (Tahsili), Science (Middle School & Nafes), and Bio & Chem (International), along with content creators and a QA contractor. Responsibilities include setting goals, conducting 1:1s, providing feedback, supporting growth, and managing hiring for open positions.
• Oversee the end-to-end science content roadmap, defining content development priorities, sequencing, team assignments, and deadlines for Grades 7–12 across both National and International tracks. Maintain real-time awareness of project status, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage capacity planning, production planning, prioritization processes, and issue resolution. Establish and maintain operational rituals to ensure efficient movement of a multi-subject, multi-grade content pipeline.
• Collaborate with Learning Excellence and Head Teachers to establish design standards, review gates, and QA workflows, ensuring content quality is achieved through repeatable processes.
• Utilize data from Exit Tickets, Diagnostics, End-of-Chapter assessments, and Learning Gain to inform and drive content development changes for subsequent terms, in partnership with the Data and Learning Excellence teams.
• Act as the central point for handoffs and collaboration with Head Teachers, Learning Excellence, Product, Engineering, Data, Customer Experience, and School Operations teams to ensure smooth pipeline integration.
• Develop templates, trackers, playbooks, and review rituals to enable content volume growth without a proportional increase in headcount, including the transition towards AI-assisted content production.

Role Scope and Impact

This role offers significant scope from the outset, involving the management of four Design Leads, a contractor pool, six programs, and content across Grades 7 through 12 for both National and International tracks. The individual will be instrumental in building this function and defining the operating system for science content production at Noon Academy. The position reports directly to the Head of Learning Operations and involves close collaboration with the Chief Learning Officer, facilitating direct decision-making. Success in this role will be measured by tangible outcomes such as learning gain, exam results, and delivery reliability.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in program management, operations management, or a related field, preferably within an educational or content production environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team of specialists, ensuring reliable delivery under pressure.
• Experience in overseeing content roadmaps, capacity planning, and establishing operational processes.
• Capability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive initiatives that enhance quality and scale.
