Job Description
About Noon Academy and the Role
Noon Academy is a leading edtech platform in the Middle East, serving over 12 million students and teachers. The company is focused on transforming the physical classroom experience through engaging social and group-based learning, coupled with AI, to enhance learning efficacy and provide access to top educators. We are actively reinventing schools in Saudi Arabia, operating as a well-funded and profitable organization.
We are seeking a Learning Program Manager — Sciences to join our team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Role Purpose and Scope
The Learning Program Manager — Sciences will lead the development and delivery of science content for Noon Academy. This role is focused on management and delivery, overseeing the content engine that supports various curricula, including Qudrat, Tahsili, Nafes, the National Curriculum, and our International track. The successful candidate will manage a team of four Design Leads who are subject-matter experts responsible for content creation, ensuring timely and high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of four Design Leads covering Biology (Tahsili), Chemistry (Tahsili), Science (Middle School & Nafes), and Bio & Chem (International), along with content creators and a QA contractor. This includes setting goals, conducting 1:1s, providing feedback, supporting growth, and participating in hiring.
- Oversee the end-to-end science content roadmap, defining what content is built, its sequence, responsible parties, and deadlines across Grades 7–12 for both National and International tracks.
- Implement and manage the operating cadence, including capacity planning, production planning, prioritization, and issue resolution to ensure a smooth, multi-subject, multi-grade content pipeline.
- Collaborate with Learning Excellence and Head Teachers to establish design standards, review gates, and QA workflows, ensuring consistent content quality.
- Utilize data from Exit Tickets, Diagnostics, End-of-Chapter assessments, and Learning Gain to inform future content development, in partnership with Data and Learning Excellence teams.
- Facilitate cross-functional delivery by ensuring smooth handoffs with Head Teachers, Learning Excellence, Product, Engineering, Data, Customer Experience, and School Operations teams.
- Drive content production scalability by developing templates, trackers, playbooks, and review processes, including exploring AI-assisted content production methods.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 2-5 years of experience, ideally within tech or education sectors, with a preference for backgrounds in Edtech platforms, Saudi tech startups, or learning organizations with scheduled delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Candidates must be decisive, self-driven, comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, and accountable for outcomes.
- Proven experience in getting a team of specialists to ship reliably under pressure. This role is not for individual contributors focused on curriculum design.
Impact and Reporting Structure
This role offers significant scope from day one, managing four Design Leads, a contractor pool, and six programs across Grades 7 through 12 on both National and International tracks. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building this function, defining the operating system for science content production at Noon Academy. You will report to the Head of Learning Operations and work directly with the Chief Learning Officer, ensuring a short line to key decisions. Performance will be measured by clear metrics such as learning gain, exam outcomes, and delivery reliability.
