About ABB and the Role

ABB is seeking a Local Division HRBP to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is integral to supporting industries in achieving leaner and cleaner operations. The role reports to the Service Local Division Manager or Local Division Manager, ELSE.

The Service Division

ABB's Service Division collaborates with customers to enhance the availability, reliability, predictability, and sustainability of electrical products and installations. The division offers a comprehensive service portfolio including product care, modernization, and advisory services. These services aim to improve performance, extend equipment lifetime, and deliver new levels of operational and sustainable efficiency, supporting customers in maximizing resource value and enabling product and material recovery at the end of their useful life.

Key Responsibilities

• Align HR and workforce strategies with business objectives, including workforce planning and labor cost budgeting.
• Lead performance management activities by supporting managers, facilitating people reviews, coaching on employee development, and ensuring the execution of development plans.
• Drive talent management and organizational capability building through recruitment, onboarding, training, competency development, succession planning, and talent development programs.
• Advise managers on employee relations, compensation, benefits, organizational changes, relocations, and workforce transitions, ensuring compliance with company policies and local labor laws.
• Support employees and leaders by providing HR guidance, leadership coaching, international assignment support, and change management during reorganizations, mergers, joint ventures, and other transformation initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role requires a clear understanding of urgency and care in managing responsibilities.
