About the Role

Supply Tech Nexus is seeking a Logistics & Supply Chain Engineer Rail Infrastructure to join a project team in Riyadh. This full-time position, with a salary range of SAR 14,000 - 22,000/month, is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience. The role involves working with Alstom, a global leader in rail transportation with over 80,000 colleagues across 63 countries.

Role Overview and Context

The Logistics & Supply Chain Engineer will focus on designing and optimizing logistics flows for large-scale rail infrastructure projects. This position requires collaboration across various stakeholders, including suppliers, participating Alstom units, and construction teams, to ensure seamless operations from the project's commencement through its delivery phases.

Core Responsibilities

• Design project warehouses to meet specific operational needs.
• Define material and information flows at the initial stages of the project.
• Ensure logistics concepts are structured correctly from day one to prevent downstream disruptions during construction and delivery phases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain and planning activities.
• Apply knowledge of international and local material flow optimization techniques.

Operational Excellence and Compliance

• Support the continuous improvement of logistics processes to align with project and business objectives.
• Develop and provide appropriate training for team members to enhance skills and performance.
• Drive a culture of resilience, adaptability, and continuous learning within the logistics team.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies across all logistics activities.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field and a foundational understanding of logistics and supply chain principles. This role requires an individual capable of contributing to large-scale infrastructure projects and collaborating effectively within a dynamic team environment.
