We are seeking a Logistics Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on a full-time basis.

Purpose of the Role

The Logistics Engineer will apply their expertise in logistics and supply chain management to optimize operational flows and ensure project success. This role involves working within a collaborative and forward-thinking team, playing a key part in shaping and streamlining logistics processes. The successful candidate will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, other Alstom units, and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design project warehouses to meet specific operational requirements.
  • Define material and information flows at the commencement of projects.
  • Develop and deliver appropriate training programs to enhance team skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain and planning activities.
  • Foster a culture of resilience, adaptability, and continuous learning within the logistics team.
  • Support the continuous improvement of logistics processes in alignment with business objectives.
  • Design and implement efficient warehouse systems.
  • Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field. While 0-1 years of experience is indicated, Alstom values passion and attitude, and therefore does not expect candidates to possess every specific skill. A strong foundation in the relevant academic discipline is essential.
