About the Role

UCC Holding is seeking a highly experienced Logistics Manager to lead end-to-end logistics operations for a major construction project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves developing and executing the project logistics strategy to ensure the safe, timely, and efficient movement of materials, equipment, plant, and manpower, thereby maintaining uninterrupted construction progress across multiple work fronts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Project Logistics Management Plan and Site Logistics Strategy, aligning with the master construction program.
  • Lead site access, traffic management, delivery scheduling, laydown areas, material storage, and internal logistics.
  • Coordinate heavy/abnormal loads, major plant movements, cranes, equipment mobilization, and specialist transportation.
  • Ensure materials and equipment are delivered just-in-time to support critical work fronts and milestones.
  • Lead logistics coordination with Construction, Planning, Procurement, HSE, Commercial, Security, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Manage logistics subcontractors, driving performance, productivity, and cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate required permits, authority interfaces, and external road/access requirements.
  • Identify and proactively eliminate logistics constraints that could impact the program, productivity, or safety.
  • Establish and monitor logistics KPIs, reporting, risks, and improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain the highest standards of HSE, compliance, housekeeping, and operational control.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven track record with a Tier-1 main contractor on major, complex projects.
  • Over 10 years of experience in logistics management.
  • Strong experience in Saudi Arabia/GCC, preferably on large-scale developments or infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing high-volume construction logistics, restricted-access sites, and multiple subcontractors/work fronts.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a strategic yet hands-on logistics leader capable of anticipating constraints, controlling complex site interfaces, and ensuring logistics never become a bottleneck to construction delivery. Experience on major Saudi mega-projects and within Tier-1 contractor environments is highly desirable for this role.
