About the Role
Saudi Arabian Trading and Construction Company (SATCO) is seeking a Logistics/Material/Asset/Stakeholder Manager to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on overseeing logistics for construction projects, ensuring efficient management of materials, assets, and stakeholder movement planning essential for successful project execution.
Position Overview
The Logistics/Material/Asset/Stakeholder Manager plays a vital role in ensuring that all logistical operations related to construction projects are executed effectively. This includes streamlining processes, optimizing resource allocation, and enhancing overall project efficiency. The role requires strategic insights and leadership to coordinate stakeholder activities and manage materials and assets effectively, contributing directly to project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee site logistics for construction projects, coordinating the movement of materials and assets to ensure timely delivery and optimal resource utilization.
- Develop and implement comprehensive logistics plans that align with project timelines and objectives, utilizing project management software for tracking and decision-making.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Conduct regular site assessments to evaluate logistics operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Lead the procurement of materials and assets, negotiating contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and ensure quality standards.
- Utilize advanced logistics management tools to monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and manage supply chain disruptions.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on logistics best practices, fostering continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present logistics performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and recommending optimization strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in logistics technology to maintain competitive and best practice-aligned processes.
Required Experience
Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in logistics, material, asset, or stakeholder management, preferably within the construction sector.
