About the Logistics Lead Role

Alrawaf Contracting (الرواف للمقاولات) is seeking a dedicated Logistics Lead to manage all logistics activities for its portfolio projects within Saudi Arabia. This full-time position, based in Jeddah, Makkah, requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the timely and cost-effective movement, receipt, storage, and distribution of construction materials, equipment, tools, and personnel, while maintaining strict compliance with project requirements, company policies, HSE standards, and applicable Saudi regulations. The Logistics Lead will collaborate closely with project management, procurement, engineering, construction teams, subcontractors, suppliers, transporters, and warehouse personnel to ensure uninterrupted project operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific logistics plans, procedures, and schedules, including coordination of site access, delivery routes, laydown areas, and material flow.
• Coordinate the delivery, receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of construction materials and equipment, ensuring timely site delivery and appropriate handling.
• Manage project transportation activities, including fleet utilization, maintenance, and compliance with company, client, and Saudi regulatory requirements for all vehicle types and specialized loads.
• Oversee site logistics operations, including access control, traffic flow, unloading areas, laydown yards, and material staging, to prevent congestion and establish safe routes.
• Coordinate warehouse and inventory logistics, including receiving, issuing, transferring, tracking materials, and maintaining accurate records in collaboration with warehouse teams.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and transport companies to monitor delivery performance, ensure compliance with contractual requirements, and resolve logistics-related issues.
• Ensure all logistics activities comply with company and project HSE requirements, implementing safe systems of work and adhering to KSA transportation and environmental regulations.
• Maintain comprehensive logistics documentation, including schedules, delivery records, and vehicle logs, preparing regular reports on KPIs and providing updates to project management.
• Monitor logistics expenditure, identify cost reduction opportunities, optimize resource utilization, and evaluate transportation and logistics service provider performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in logistics management.
• Proven experience with major construction, infrastructure, industrial, or EPC projects.
• Experience managing logistics for remote or large-scale project sites.
• Demonstrated experience with heavy/abnormal-load transportation.
• Knowledge of KSA logistics, transportation, customs, and permitting processes.
• Knowledge of international logistics and import/export processes is an advantage.

• Frequent movement within construction sites and logistics/laydown areas.

• Valid authorization to work in Saudi Arabia.
• Valid Saudi/Iqama documentation, as applicable.
