About the Logistics Team Leader Role

Arla Foods is seeking a Logistics Team Leader to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a candidate with 2-5 years of experience in logistics and warehousing operations. The role involves overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring adherence to procedures, and contributing to the efficient flow of goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to operational tasks as an essential team member, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Ensure compliance with all warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including inbound/outbound processes, warehouse operations, and inventory management.
• Prepare and accurately execute the daily operational plan within defined parameters.
• Oversee inventory, manage goods, and maintain accurate warehouse records to ensure effective stock control, proper storage, and timely distribution.
• Build strong collaborative relationships internally and externally, understanding customer needs.
• Coordinate with planning, sales, and commercial operations to ensure timely order delivery.
• Ensure accurate preparation and provision of all necessary delivery documentation to drivers prior to departure, and manage incoming documentation and related inquiries.
• Uphold Arla Foods' standards, policies, and applicable local laws within the department.
• Foster a healthy, inclusive, and safe working environment, promoting a safety mindset.
• Maintain quality and food safety standards within the area of responsibility.
• Oversee the maintenance of the warehouse, machinery, material handling equipment, and trucks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Skilled education in logistics, warehousing, or an equivalent field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in handling goods, with a preference for food products.
• Basic understanding of warehouse machinery, equipment, and fleet, including coordinating maintenance.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Intermediate English and IT skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook).
• Basic knowledge of Power BI.
• Basic knowledge of AI.
• Intermediate proficiency in SAP Applications (EWM, ERP (ECC), BW Report, RFUI).
