About the Manager, BIM Role at Qiddiya

Qiddiya is seeking a Manager, BIM to join its Central Development Unit (CDU) in Riyadh. This full-time position is a key member of the Design Excellence vertical, focusing on establishing and maintaining digital design standards and delivery quality across complex development projects.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The Manager, BIM is integral to the CDU, which functions as a center of excellence by setting standards and driving consistency across development projects through best practice tools and processes. The Digital Design & BIM team defines and maintains BIM standards, ensures compliance for digital delivery quality, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. This role supports and enables strategic relationships by establishing and maintaining critical operational tools, processes, and frameworks. Design Excellence ensures projects embody "Qiddiya-ness" by creating standardized measures of design quality across the program.

Core Responsibilities

• Champion QIC's "Safety First" value, confidently enacting ‘Stop Work’ authority and engaging in relevant health, safety, and wellbeing standards and behaviors.
• Demonstrate positive workplace behaviors, in line with Qiddiya Values, at all times.
• Manage, coach, and mentor junior staff to successfully contribute to departmental deliverables, behaviors, and safety culture.
• Manage digital design processes, ensuring adherence to BIM standards and SGR methodology.
• Oversee a team of designers and BIM specialists, providing support and direction on daily activities.
• Implement digital twin concepts into projects, ensuring effective data integration and usage.
• Ensure compliance with BIM policies and validate delivery quality through regular checks.
• Generate reports on project progress and efficiency metrics, suggesting improvements based on data analysis.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into digital design outputs.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. A master's degree is considered an advantage. Professional registration in a respective discipline, such as a Chartered Engineer or similar, is also an advantage.

Essential Knowledge and Compliance

• Demonstrated knowledge of both relevant industry and local standards, codes, and regulations.
• Ability to comply with QIC (Qiddiya Investment Company) Governance Requirements.
