Manager Collection & Recovery

About the Role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Manager Collection & Recovery to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to achieving monthly collection targets, minimizing risk exposure for assigned accounts, and effectively resolving complex collection obstacles. The Manager will also be responsible for understanding clients' financial requirements to facilitate timely and efficient recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review debtor reports to arrange communication with clients regarding past due amounts and forthcoming installments.
• Lead weekly debtor meetings with the collection team to ensure collection targets are consistently met.
• Monitor and follow up on warnings issued to clients to ensure successful collection.
• Liaise with credit control to provide accurate monthly collection forecasts.

Team Leadership and Development

• Manage and lead the collection and chaser teams, ensuring their adherence to set objectives and targets.
• Conduct semi-annual reviews to measure team performance against established objectives.
• Support headcount phasing in line with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Participate in interviews and hiring processes, ensuring alignment with Bupa Arabia's values and talent requirements.
• Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training for both current team members and new joiners to enhance performance.

Operational Excellence and Compliance

• Ensure the collection team accurately updates all activities in CollectSmart, adhering to established policies and procedures.
• Promote and implement digitalization projects and automation initiatives to replace manual processes and improve efficiency.
• Ensure strict compliance with the credit control policy and all Bupa Values, policies, and procedures.
• Abide by the agreed-upon rules of engagement with brokers and clients.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this full-time position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in collection and recovery management. This experience should demonstrate a proven ability to meet collection targets and manage risk effectively.
