About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking an experienced and talented Manager - Design Management to lead the design and development of innovative projects. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role focuses on ensuring projects meet high standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics from concept through completion.

Role Overview

The Manager - Design Management will oversee multidisciplinary design teams and collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver successful projects. This position requires a leader with strong technical expertise, exceptional project management capabilities, and a commitment to design excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of architects and designers, providing direction, mentorship, and technical guidance.
• Oversee the development of design concepts, plans, and specifications, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Collaborate with internal departments, consultants, and external stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver integrated design solutions.
• Manage the full design lifecycle from concept development through project completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Review and approve design proposals, drawings, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project goals and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to support efficient project execution.
• Stay informed about emerging design trends, technologies, and industry innovations, incorporating best practices where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, design codes, and company standards.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, continuous improvement, and professional development within the design team.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in design management or a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in overseeing multidisciplinary design teams.
• Strong technical expertise in design and project management.
• Proven ability to manage projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.

Work Environment
