About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced and talented Manager - Design Management to lead the design and development of innovative projects. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, and involves overseeing multidisciplinary design teams and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery from concept through completion. The role requires a creative leader with strong technical expertise and project management capabilities.

Role Overview

The Manager - Design Management will be responsible for guiding design and development initiatives, ensuring projects meet high standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics. This involves strategic oversight of the entire design lifecycle, from initial concept to final completion, while maintaining adherence to project objectives and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of architects and designers, providing direction, mentorship, and technical guidance.
• Oversee the development of design concepts, plans, and specifications, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Collaborate with internal departments, consultants, and external stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver integrated design solutions.
• Manage the full design lifecycle from concept development through project completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Review and approve design proposals, drawings, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project goals and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to support efficient project execution.
• Stay informed about emerging design trends, technologies, and industry innovations, incorporating best practices where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, design codes, and company standards.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, continuous improvement, and professional development within the design team.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated experience in design management.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required.
• Strong technical expertise in design and project management.
• Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary design teams.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within Qiddiya Investment Company. The role involves working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners in a dynamic project-driven environment.
