About the Role

King Salman International Airport is seeking a Manager Legal Consultation to lead the comprehensive management of commercial contracts across all projects and business functions. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves overseeing various contract types, including special contracts, leases, consultancy agreements, and project-related agreements. The role requires 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Role Overview

The Manager Legal Consultation will be responsible for contract negotiations, administration, governance, claims, changes, and commercial risk management. This role provides strategic legal guidance to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with King Salman International Airport's requirements and organizational objectives. The Manager will also represent the Legal function in cross-functional engagements, offering independent legal advice on operational and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal consultation and advisory support to internal stakeholders.
• Identify and assess legal risks arising from projects, initiatives, and operational activities, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Provide timely legal opinions during operational or business disruptions to safeguard institutional interests and reputation.
• Advise on the implementation of high-level legal opinions and board-level guidance, ensuring alignment with applicable legal and governance requirements.
• Identify legal opportunities and constraints related to the airport’s long-term master plan, including infrastructure financing, data sovereignty, and emerging technologies.
• Provide legal risk assessments and strategic briefings to senior leadership on major commercial matters, ESG disclosure requirements, and cross-border partnerships.
• Review proposed business models and investment structures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and governance standards.
• Develop and maintain legal playbooks and advisory templates to support consistent, high-quality legal guidance across corporate and commercial workstreams.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in legal consultation, contract management, or a similar field. A strong understanding of commercial law, governance requirements, and risk mitigation strategies is essential. The ability to provide strategic legal guidance and manage complex contractual relationships is also required.
