Manager Portfolio Management & Integration

About the Role

Humain is seeking a Manager – Portfolio Management to oversee the performance tracking and monitoring of the organization's investment portfolio. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves managing a diverse portfolio including minority investments, majority investments, joint ventures (JVs), and strategic partnerships. The role requires strong analytical rigor, a focus on operational excellence within portfolio companies, and a solid understanding of governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio Performance Tracking: Track and analyze financial and operational performance against defined targets and benchmarks. Develop and maintain dashboards, MIS, and periodic reports for senior management, the Board, and Executive Committee. Identify performance trends, synergy opportunities, and conduct variance analysis against budgets and business plans.
• Value Creation and Operational Excellence: Translate investment theses into value creation roadmaps for new entities. Identify and prioritize value-creation levers across revenue growth, cost optimization, working capital, capex efficiency, and margin improvement. Work with portfolio company management to set clear performance targets and KPIs, and maintain a value creation plan (VCP) tracker.
• Governance & Compliance: Support the Humain Governance, Risk and Compliance team in governance processes for portfolio companies, including board representation and meeting preparation. Ensure alignment between investment monitoring and governance requirements, and liaise with legal and compliance teams on related matters.
• Investment, JV & Partnership Management: Monitor minority stake investments for reporting compliance and exit readiness. Support majority-owned entities on strategic reviews and performance improvement. Implement JV operating models, manage JV relationships, and coordinate with partnership entities. Assist in preparing investment committee papers and portfolio reviews.
• Stakeholder Management & Team Collaboration: Collaborate with central functions (Finance, GRC, Legal, HR) and Business Units to gather data and drive portfolio outcomes. Work with deal teams and portfolio company managements to validate performance data. Engage with upward stakeholders and support senior management with ad hoc analysis and presentations.

Experience and Qualifications

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated strong analytical rigor and a solid understanding of governance frameworks.
• Ability to work collaboratively across various central functions and business units.
