About the Role: Manager Smart Systems

Qiddiya is seeking a Manager Smart Systems to lead the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of smart application solutions. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires a professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose and Context

The Manager Smart Systems will drive innovation and oversee application delivery to support business objectives across SEVEN and SCC. This role is central to building high-performing teams and ensuring that technology solutions consistently deliver measurable business value through strategic application development and system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute application strategies and service offerings aligned with business objectives for SEVEN and SCC.
• Lead the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of smart systems and applications.
• Manage and develop the Applications team, ensuring required capabilities and technical expertise, including recruitment, motivation, and retention of high-performing talent.
• Conduct regular team meetings, monitor performance, and provide coaching and guidance, while driving learning and professional development initiatives.
• Analyze business requirements and deliver innovative application solutions, identifying business growth opportunities and recommending technology-enabled solutions.
• Translate business objectives into actionable application and technology strategies.
• Promote best practices in application development, solution architecture, and delivery.
• Identify and introduce innovative technologies and new methods for delivering business value, leveraging emerging technologies for competitive advantages.
• Drive service improvements to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
• Design and deliver technology solutions that align with business strategy and long-term objectives.
• Ensure effective governance, operational controls, reporting, and performance management across application services.
• Develop and present compelling business cases and value propositions for new solutions and initiatives.
• Ensure successful end-to-end delivery of application solutions, from requirements through implementation and transition to operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, vendors, and technology partners to ensure successful solution delivery.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in leading the development and implementation of smart application solutions. This includes a proven track record in application strategy, solution architecture, and team management within a technology-driven environment.
