Job Description

About Ektis and the Role

Ektis is a financial services consulting firm operating within the GCC's financial ecosystem. The firm partners with banks, fintechs, development finance institutions, and public-sector clients to address challenges in strategy, commercial growth, risk, payments, and transformation. This full-time Marketing Specialist role is based in Riyadh and involves broad, hands-on responsibilities within a small marketing function that supports the entire firm. The specialist will work with consultants, directors, and partners to translate their expertise into content, events, and campaigns for target markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Events: Coordinate the firm's event program, including client roundtables, breakfast briefings, employee onboarding, sector conferences, and sponsored exhibitions. This involves managing logistics for venues, suppliers, catering, AV, delegate travel, and exhibition stands. The specialist will also manage invitation lists, registration, reminders, and follow-up, prepare event collateral, delegate packs, and branded materials, and track stock. Attending events to set up, staff stands or registration desks, support speakers, and pack down is required. Support consultants in preparing for speaking slots and panel appearances, including slides and briefing notes, and capture photography, video, and quotes for use across channels. Report on attendance, client and prospect engagement, spend against budget, and provide recommendations.
  • Social Media: Own the day-to-day content calendar, primarily for LinkedIn. Write, design, and schedule posts promoting insights, case studies, appointments, and events. Amplify thought leadership and assist consultants in building their professional profiles. Monitor comments, messages, and mentions, responding in the firm's tone of voice and escalating client-sensitive issues. Run live coverage from conferences and client events. Report monthly on reach, engagement, follower growth, and audience make-up, analyzing performance. Track competitor and sector activity and contribute ideas to the team.
  • Internal Communications: Produce internal firm-wide announcements to keep a largely client-site based workforce connected. Support all-hands sessions, away days, and internal engagement events.
  • Brand Management: Apply and safeguard brand guidelines across all internal and client-facing materials. Maintain the asset library, including logos, templates, photography, consultant biographies, and credentials. Keep proposal, pitch, and report templates current, and ensure consistency in colleagues' documents. Liaise with designers, printers, and agencies on artwork and production.
  • Campaigns and Business Development Support: Support campaign delivery across email, social, web, and print, including building assets, scheduling sends, and updating website pages. Assist in producing insight pieces, client case studies, and sector reports in collaboration with authors. Maintain accurate, segmented, and compliant client and prospect data in the CRM. Assist with proposal and tender documents, including formatting, credentials, and team profiles. Pull performance figures and contribute to post-campaign reviews. Raise purchase orders and track spend against marketing budgets.
