Material Expediter / Procurement

About the Role

Esnad Contracting is seeking a Material Expediter to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for ensuring the timely availability of materials for various projects, requiring close coordination across multiple departments and with external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Track purchase orders and monitor material delivery schedules effectively.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding manufacturing progress, inspections, shipping, and delivery dates.
• Identify potential delays, material shortages, and supply chain risks, escalating issues as necessary.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Warehouse, Logistics, and Project teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Expedite critical and long-lead materials to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain accurate material tracking logs, supplier commitments, and outstanding delivery records.
• Coordinate material inspections, shipping documents, packing lists, and delivery requirements.
• Prepare regular material status reports and provide progress updates to management.
• Follow up on corrective actions to resolve delayed or incomplete deliveries.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Diploma or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in material expediting, procurement, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, or contracting projects is preferred.
• Good understanding of purchase orders, supplier coordination, and material delivery processes.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, follow-up, and reporting skills.

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time schedule. The Material Expediter will work within a dynamic team environment, collaborating with various departments to ensure project success.
