Lead Expediting

About the Role

Wood is seeking a Lead Expediting professional to join its project team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, long-term, site-based position supporting a strategic gold mine and processing facility. The initial assignment will be in the Riyadh office before mobilization to the site.

Role Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of all purchased equipment and materials. This involves coordinating with suppliers, logistics teams, and project teams to maintain the overall project schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain expediting plans and reports.
• Monitor vendor manufacturing progress.
• Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), inspections, and shipment readiness.
• Address delays and proactively escalate issues as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7 years of expediting experience on industrial or mining projects.
• Familiarity with fabrication, logistics, and documentation workflows.
• Prior site-based work experience on EPC/EPCM projects.
