Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

Duncan & Ross Consulting is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading all mechanical engineering activities related to the restoration of facility buildings and hangars, ensuring compliance with approved designs, applicable codes, and company standards.

Role Overview

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the restoration, testing, and commissioning of critical mechanical systems. This includes HVAC, compressed air, generator mechanical systems, and door mechanisms, ensuring they meet all technical and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site condition assessments for HVAC, compressed air, and other mechanical systems.
• Coordinate equipment lead times and delivery schedules with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Develop mechanical technical input for scopes of work, tender documents, and bills of quantities.
• Perform technical evaluations of bidder and contractor proposals.
• Review and approve manufacturer submittals, shop drawings, and equipment selections.
• Supervise installation, testing, adjusting and balancing, and commissioning activities.
• Monitor contractor performance, quality, and compliance with the approved scope and schedule.
• Verify and approve as-built drawings, test reports, and operation and maintenance manuals.
