Role Overview

SAUDICO is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is focused on providing essential technical support for the installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of various mechanical systems. The role specifically covers HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems within construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring and executing mechanical works at the site.
  • Review mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Inspect HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
  • Inspect equipment, piping, ductwork, valves, and accessories during installation.
  • Assist in testing, balancing, flushing, pressure testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, civil, and architectural teams.
  • Monitor subcontractor activities and prepare progress reports.
  • Identify installation defects and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Maintain inspection, testing, and progress records.
  • Assist in preparing red-line drawings and as-built drawings.
  • Ensure that approved mechanical materials and equipment are used.
  • Comply with approved quality, health, and safety procedures.

Candidate Profile

This role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related technical field. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of mechanical systems and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
