DallahHealth, a prominent healthcare provider in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a qualified Medical Insurance Coordinator to join its team. This full-time role is integral to supporting the Revenue Cycle management, ensuring efficient medical administration within the organization.
Role Overview
The Medical Insurance Coordinator provides essential medical support across various administrative sections, including approvals, claims processing, and billing. This position involves active participation in the creation of contractual agreements and managing reconciliation processes with insurance companies, contributing significantly to the smooth operation of the revenue cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Revenue Cycle management in the medical administration of the business.
- Participate in the creation of contractual agreements with clients.
- Provide medical support to the approval section, claims processing center, and billing section.
- Coordinate with medical staff regarding client contracts, requirements, and forms.
- Liaise with insurance companies to manage rejections and replies to insurance company queries.
- Responsible for reconciliation with insurance companies for final settlement.
- Ensure full awareness and active implementation of departmental policies, procedures, and relevant local and international standards.
- Actively contribute to indicator development, data collection, and performance measurement for departmental functions and processes.
- Conduct analysis and interpretation of collected data and information as required.
- Participate in hospital Safety Management and Risk Management Programs.
- Report incidents in the system and, when necessary, participate in incident review and root cause analysis.
- Perform other duties within the scope of professional knowledge and skills as directed by the Revenue Cycle Director.
Required Qualifications and Licensing
- Possession of a Basic Medical Degree.
- Possession of a Postgraduate Medical Degree.
- Must be licensed by the Saudi Ministry of Health.
Professional Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience in medical practice.
- A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in medical administration.
Work Type and Location
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will operate within a dynamic healthcare environment, contributing to the efficient management of medical insurance processes and revenue cycle operations.
