Role Overview

The META Regional Finance Leader provides strategic financial leadership across the Middle East, Türkiye, and Africa region. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supports senior management, country organizations, and business divisions in achieving balanced and profitable growth. The role serves as the senior finance partner to the META business leader, overseeing financial performance management, planning, forecasting, prioritization, controllership, compliance, risk management, and finance talent development. The position also ensures effective deployment within Finance operations by collaborating with Business Planning and Analysis, Entity Finance, Customer Finance, Global Accounting, shared services, and EMEA and Corporate Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Business Partnering: Serve as a key member of the META Regional Leadership Team, contributing to regional strategy formulation and execution. Act as the principal financial advisor, providing insights and recommendations to improve growth, profitability, and return on investment. Partner with leaders to achieve financial commitments and advise on material financial risks and opportunities. Lead financial evaluation of critical initiatives, investments, and resource-allocation decisions.
• Financial Planning and Performance Management: Own regional Annual Strategic Review, annual budget, quarterly projections, and longer-range financial planning processes. Ensure plans are robust and aligned with EMEA and enterprise objectives. Supervise regional performance through rigorous analysis of revenue, profitability, operating expenses, working capital, and cash flow. Provide timely insights into performance drivers and corrective actions. Lead monthly and quarterly regional performance reviews.
• Working Capital, Credit, and Risk Management: Provide regional leadership over working-capital performance, including receivables, inventory, and cash-flow optimization. Partner with Customer Finance to manage credit exposure, improve collections, and optimize DSO. Ensure appropriate oversight of inventory provisions, obsolescence, and write-offs. Identify material financial, commercial, compliance, and operational risks, ensuring appropriate mitigation.
• Finance Operating Model and Transformation: Lead implementation and continuous improvement of the Finance Operating Model across META. Clarify accountabilities and optimize collaboration among regional finance teams, country finance, and various CoEs and shared services. Standardize processes, strengthen data quality, and develop scalable ways of working. Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or transition transactional activities while maintaining service quality and compliance.
• Finance Leadership and Talent Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the META finance organization, including direct and matrixed finance teams. Build a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative regional finance community. Establish development plans, succession pipelines, and talent-review processes for critical finance roles. Raise finance capabilities in business partnering, analytics, controllership, and strategic decision support. Attract and retain strong finance talent and drive a culture of continuous improvement and ethical standards.

Work Environment
