About The Role
The Luxury Collection is seeking a full-time Purchasing Manager to join their team in Ad Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for overseeing established purchasing, receiving, storing, issuing, and payment procedures, and for compiling lists of approved vendors across all categories. The Manager will ensure compliance with financial, operational, and safety standards while supporting the hotel's overall profitability and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cross-departmental purchasing work, projects, policies, and standards, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
- Assist the Executive Chef in all phases of purchasing food, beverage, and controllable items to ensure quality and profitability, and in maintaining/reducing budgeted costs.
- Execute the First-In, First-Out inventory rotation principle and the "use it up" principle to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Communicate with kitchen and restaurant management and vendors to ensure timely deliveries meet production needs.
- Check invoices for all received goods to verify quantities, quality, weights, and purchase specifications match orders.
- Utilize computer programs for daily and period-end F&B cost calculations and maintain accurate inventory control, including date stamping, rotation, and requisitions.
- Complete administrative tasks such as C-7s, menu costing, and general office responsibilities in a timely manner.
- Conduct period-end inventory counts for food and beverage as per F&B and accounting standard operating procedures.
- Manage accurate controllable logs and beverage perpetual inventory, ensuring all invoices are accurately managed and filed.
- Provide guidance and assistance to other organizational units on accounting budget policies and procedures, and on effective control and utilization of financial resources.
- Coordinate and implement assigned accounting work and projects, including audits across hotel operations.
- Support hotel operations by reviewing performance data, participating in inspections, and ensuring corrective actions are taken based on guest feedback.
- Implement and maintain the hotel's emergency plan and accident prevention program, ensuring a safe work environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A four-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or a related major.
- Demonstrated knowledge of job-related issues, products, systems, and processes.
- Proficiency in using computers and computer systems, including hardware and software, for data entry and information processing.
- Ability to apply relevant information and individual judgment to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, or standards.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others, advocating for sound financial and business decision-making.
- Ability to generate and provide accurate and timely results in the form of reports and presentations.
- Effective organizational skills, including the ability to organize, code, categorize, calculate, tabulate, audit, or verify information or data.

Financial Management

- Ensure accurate recording of profits and losses, and monitor applicable taxes.
- Achieve and exceed performance, budget, and team goals.
- Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
- Support annual quality audits and review financial statements to measure productivity and identify areas for cost reduction.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Ad Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring interaction with kitchen staff, vendors, and executive leadership. The role involves working closely with the operations team to develop and execute strategies aligned with the brand's business objectives.
